Job Details

Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) is seeking a board-certified or residency trained Internist to join our thriving multi-specialty practice in southeastern WI.

We are looking for a motivated individual to develop the internal medicine service at this location, joining the surgery, ophthalmology, and 24/7 emergency teams that have already been established there.  WVRC offers services in Cardiology, Oncology, Radiology, Critical Care, Surgery, Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dentistry and Emergency across its other hospitals and is excited to continue expansion at each location.

Located just outside of Milwaukee and situated on the shores of Lake Michigan, the area offers a mix of what’s best about Wisconsin and the Midwest.  Here you can enjoy the cosmopolitan offerings of world-class music, dining and shopping as well as the state’s finest museums, sports, fishing, sailing, biking and hiking trails, which are all part of the urban mix. You can also enjoy a summer season of festivals, complemented by a winter of spectacular performing arts and activities.  Chicago, Madison and Green Bay are just a short drive away and offer additional diverse experiences and activities.

Large companies such as Amazon, Foxconn and Ikea have committed to southeastern Wisconsin, fueling growth of the local economies in Racine and Kenosha counties. WVRC is joining the expansion as well with a new Racine hospital building slated for opening in 2020.  Come experience the joys of Midwest living and hospitality while practicing high-level medicine with a collaborative and dedicated team of professionals.

Candidates should have strong organizational skills and the desire to engage in rewarding relationships with colleagues and peers. If you are interested in professional growth as a valued member of a dedicated team, please submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, and 3 references to: Dr. Kari Severson, kseverson@ethosvet.com.
