Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (AVES) is seeking a full-time small animal internist for its rapidly growing emergency and specialty hospital in Austin, TX. We are seeking our 3rd internist to help provide outstanding care while contributing to collaborative medicine across all specialties within the hospital. The qualified individual should be self-motivated, efficient, and have excellent multi-tasking abilities. We are seeking an internist that desires to provide the highest quality of medicine, top-notch client service, and a desire to establish long-lasting relationships within the veterinary community. AVES internists have access to digital radiology, an 8 slice-helical CT, and MRI, and a wide array of equipment for scoping procedures.

AVES was founded in 2014 by Dr. Lindsay Vaughn, DACVECC, Dr. Don Hulse, DACVS, DECVS, and partners of Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialist. Our specialty services include a 24/7/365 Emergency and Critical Care service, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Dentistry, Oncology, Neurology, and Diagnostic Imaging. Cardiology services are provided daily by CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets.
