Job Details

Are you a board-certified internist who’s interested in going mobile and bringing much-needed specialty services right to the referring veterinarians and patients in our community? Phoenix Veterinary Internal Medicine Services is looking for another full-time or part-time internist to join our team in beautiful, sunny Arizona!

We pride ourselves on bringing high-quality patient care and service right to our referring community through the use of our customized mobile vans. Each is equipped with a built-in office, lift, and equipment storage for traveling to various referring veterinary practices, with all the amenities you would need for appointments. A skilled and dedicated veterinary technician would be a part of your team, assisting you with appointments and driving the vans, giving you the freedom to complete calls, work on medical records, and review labs and diagnostics as needed between procedures and appointments with patients.

Phoenix Veterinary Internal Medicine Services offers full ultrasound evaluations and various endoscopic procedures to our referring partners. We work closely with each patient's family veterinarian, ensuring we have good communication and that they are involved in recommendations and each patient's plan of care for review with their pet owners. We sometimes provide consultations directly to clients, but most of our communication and interaction is done directly in partnership with the referring veterinarian.

We want any specialist joining our team to love Phoenix and all it has to offer as much as we do. Our unique desert landscapes meet big-city sophistication, with so much to do and see. As America’s 5th most populous city and home to real cowboys, beautiful desert scenery, and more land designated for parks and preserves than any other major city in the nation, there is a little something special for everyone. In addition to its natural beauty, Phoenix is home to an array of theatres, shopping, dining, and popular museums. We have golf courses that stay green all year, lots of outdoor tennis courts, mountain parks crisscrossed with trails, major sports venues, and a spectrum of outdoor adventures and dining we know you'd enjoy. As a mobile internist, you'll have the time and flexibility to enjoy all of those pursuits!
