Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado (VRCC) is looking for a board-certified veterinary internist.

VRCC is a 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital located in Englewood, Colorado. VRCC was founded in 1991 and has steadily grown to include members of all specialties.  We are now in an 18,800 square foot multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital that has been at its current location since 1999.  Our specialties include Cardiology, Dermatology, Dentistry, Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Surgery.

Our Internal Medicine department is well-established in the Denver community, allowing for a large and interesting caseload. We have an incredibly close team who enjoy working together and spending time together outside of work. You will always hear laughing coming from the IM department! The Internal Medicine service has their own ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopes, procedure room, and well-trained technicians. All of our internists perform their own ultrasounds, which is a requirement for any candidates. VRCC also has CT, digital radiography, an in house lab, and Antech is down the street. Furthermore, we have two anesthesiologists, who are available to run anesthesia for unstable cases. You can learn more about our hospital at https://www.vrcc.com/.

VRCC is located in beautiful Englewood, CO, which is a suburb of Denver, and contains endless activities. In Denver, there are numerous outdoor activities available in every season, including hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, and snowboarding. There are also incredible restaurants, breweries, festivals, and farmers’ markets to explore.

At VRCC, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Dr. Shelly Wazyniak at swazyniak@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
