Hope Veterinary Specialists, a BluePearl Veterinary Partner, is seeking a SECOND full-time or part-time board-certified Neurologist to join our growing practice. Our new facility opened in 2013 and our rapidly growing caseload necessitates the addition of a second neurologist to continue to provide the highest level of care for our patients.

Our ideal candidate will possess the qualities that allow them to provide excellent clinical care while working closely with our technical staff to elevate their level of knowledge and skills. Our practice is comprised of small animal board-certified specialists in nearly every discipline of veterinary medicine (anesthesiology and pain management, acupuncture, cardiology, dermatology, dental and oral surgery, emergency and critical care medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, radiology and diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology and surgery) and the diverse caseload from both our emergency service and other internal departments provides a stimulating, fast-paced environment for any neurologist in addition to providing 24-hour coverage for hospitalized cases.

Our neurology service manages cases in all aspects of neurology including routine medical cases (i.e. epilepsy, inflammatory disease, etc.) to complicated surgical cases including spinal stabilization procedures. Mentorship can be provided to recent graduates who are looking to work aside another board-certified neurologist. Additionally, our neurology service has a team of highly qualified nurses and assistants who provide top-notch care for our clients and patients.

In addition to direct medical care, the successful candidate must be able to provide education for our technical staff to raise their level of patient care. The focus on education extends to our referring community as well. We are involved in continuing education opportunities locally, nationally, and internationally and we would expect the Neurologist to take an active role.
