BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in North Seattle is searching for an experienced veterinarian for our radiation oncology hospitalist position. In partnership with our skilled radiation oncologist, you will work with a strong dedicated LVT team to provide ancillary care for our radiation patients. Primary responsibilities will include physical exams for ongoing patients, providing safe anesthetic protocols, overseeing CT's and daily treatments, helping with daily flow, client communication for ongoing patients, overseeing hospitalized and boarding patients, and basic ancillary care (treatment of abscesses, UTI's, radiation side effects, seizures etc). No previous radiation oncology experience is required. Previous emergency and/or general practice experience is preferred. This is a daytime schedule, flexible in number of days per week, though does require Fridays. No primary receiving is required. This is a unique opportunity to delve into an up-and-coming specialty that can achieve fantastic results for your patients and to find a new work-life balance.

Description

Our newer, 23,000 sq. ft. hospital, is well equipped with a 64 slice CT, fluoroscopy and C arm, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound, echocardiography, linear accelerator with SRT, ventilator, and TEG machine. Our current services include critical care, emergency, internal medicine, part time cardiology, radiology, surgery, radiation oncology, and dermatology.
