Internist in Montana!
Free Beer in Montana!
We’re offering a truly unique opportunity for an internist to build their future with us, here in Montana where the quality of life is exceptional. This uncommon opportunity can include partnership as we’re privately held and offer ownership for our key team members. We’re looking for someone to help lead and grow the internal medicine service at Bitterroot Veterinary Specialists, our new and rapidly growing referral practice in Missoula, Montana.
You’ll have excellent work-life balance with no weekend or emergency call, so you can enjoy all of the great attributes that Missoula and Montana have to offer. You’ll be supported by two highly accomplished surgeons (soon to be three) who established the surgery service, a great 24/7 emergency service and a criticalist. We have a newly built hospital with CT scan, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and endoscopy suites. Our organization views positive culture and quality of life as core values; we want to “be great and have fun” so are looking for colleagues with the same aspirations.
Missoula is an energetic college town of about 80,000 people with a vibrant arts culture and some of the best outdoor recreational opportunities in the Mountain West. Just outside your back door, you’ll be able to camp, bike, ski, fish, boat or just about any outdoor activity you can imagine! And, you’ll be able to easily get out to explore the area’s national parks including Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. These are just some of the reasons Montana is known as the Last Best Place!
The local veterinary community has been incredibly supportive of referral medicine and are anxious to share their clients and raise the level of care in the region. The practice has already established a robust, diverse caseload supported by a fun and efficient clinical team. You’ll be able to hit the ground running, with professional satisfaction and strong earnings that will include the rare opportunity for partnership if so inclined. Part-time candidates or job sharing will also be considered.
If you would like to know more about this special opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to either of our two partners: Josh Jackson, DVM, DACVS or Jason Wheeler, DVM, DACVS
