Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (WRAH) is looking for a board-certified or residency trained Internist to provide Locum coverage from June through September 2021.
Our 37,500 square foot state of the art hospital is nestled in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, near the Denver metro area. Our team members range from living in the heart of active, downtown Denver to the retreats of mountain towns only 40 minutes away. About the culture: Our hospital culture thrives on collaborative & integrative medicine, as we are a hybrid of multiple specialties and a general practice. Our doctors work collectively and symbiotically with each other. In addition, our structure incorporates the support staff of Certified Technicians and Assistants to be part of this camaraderie, working as peers. Our Team: Our busy primary care DVM group refer and co-manage cases with each of the specialty departments. We also have an onsite Board-Certified Anesthesiologist who provides oversight for each individual anesthetic case. Other specialties include Radiology, Dermatology, Emergency / Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Theriogenology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery.
Diagnostic Capabilities: We offer a wide array of diagnostics, including a 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT, fluoroscopy, and an onsite reference laboratory which includes a cytologist.
