Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is currently seeking an additional Medical Oncologist to join us in our state-of-the-art 51,000 SF facility.  Work with the best!  GCVS values innovation and individuality at the practice level while recognizing the power of collaboration.   We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for advancing critical care medicine.

Founded in 1989, Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists partnered with NVA Compassion-First in 2016 to accelerate its growth and network with other best-in-class specialty and emergency hospitals. With a 1.5 T MRI, 64 slice CT, a Trilogy radiation therapy system capable of advanced radiation therapy modalities as well as an Interventional Radiology Suite we have all the toys you need. GCVS currently has specialty practices in Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Animal Rehabilitation and Fitness, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Allergy, Avian and Exotics, Cardiology, and Anesthesiology.  In addition to the specialty services, GCVS operates a 24/7/365 emergency service within the specialty hospital.

The Oncology department at GCVS is thriving and looking to hire our fifth oncologist. Our specialists use a collaborative approach, dedicated to restoring and prolonging an excellent quality of life in pets with cancer. We also collaborate with others in the field, including those in biomedical research and human oncology. This collaboration helps to expand the cancer knowledge base, and improve the level of care we may offer. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and a team player that can contribute to our high standard of patient care, client service, and collaboration with specialists and local referring veterinarians.
