Job Details

Seeking Full Time Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Internist.

Established in 1977, Coral Springs Animal Hospital is a General and Specialty/ECC Hospital with 24-hour emergency/critical care services located in Broward County, Florida.  We have Board Certified Specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Radiology (via teleradiology), Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, and Behavior, as well as a strong team of 8 full-time emergency/cc clinicians. We also have Residency Trained clinicians in Dentistry and Avian/Exotic Medicine.

We practice ethical, excellent veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians first consider the welfare and needs of the patient for the purpose of relieving suffering while causing a minimum of pain or fright. At CSAH, the benefit to the patient always takes precedence over personal advantage or monetary gain in decisions concerning therapy. In every interaction we have, whether with a client, rDVM, vendor, or anyone for that matter, we expect our staff will be exceptional “ambassadors” representing CSAH.

AAHA Accreditations we have more AAHA accreditations in General and Referral Medicine than any other hospital in North America. Our Internship program is also AAHA accredited.

We employ an excellent support staff of 145+ individuals with very low turnover. Our management team is dedicated to making the practice of veterinary medicine less stressful for all our clinicians by ensuring that our equipment is state of the art and fully functional, that our inventory is consistently well-stocked, and that our support staff is the best available.

Our caseload continues to grow with over 825 veterinarians referring (2019). Additionally, our progressive primary care practice provides a consistent caseload of affluent, educated, and committed clients.

Winston Churchill said: “We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”  We won the Veterinary Economics Hospital of the Year for Design Award in 2012. The quality and appearance of a building dictates, to a significant degree, the attitudes of the people who work there, and the pet owners who come in for veterinary care. We enjoy practicing in an attractive modern building designed by a veterinary architect that is immaculate, almost completely sound-proof, odor-free, and professional in appearance. In 2020 we completed a 5,200 SF addition bringing our building to 42,581 SF in size.

In the March 2012 issue, Veterinary Economics featured our building as “Hospital of the Year”.  In 2015, we were awarded the AAHA Referral Practice of the Year.
