Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital (WRAH) is looking for a 5th board-certified or residency trained Internist to join our well established, rapidly growing, 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital.  We are open to resident applicants however we are ideally seeking an Internist to start in 2021.

Our 37,500 square foot state of the art hospital is nestled in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, near the Denver metro area.  Our team members range from living in the heart of active, downtown Denver to the retreats of mountain towns only 40 minutes away.  The exponential growth of our area coupled with the majestic and friendly mountain culture provides a uniquely intrinsic balance of career development and life enhancement.  The Denver area benefits from 300+ days of sunshine a year and endless opportunity for independent or community activity. About the culture: Our hospital culture thrives on collaborative & integrative medicine, as we are a hybrid of multiple specialties and a general practice. Our doctors work collectively and symbiotically with each other. In addition, our structure incorporates the support staff of Certified Technicians and Assistants to be part of this camaraderie, working as peers. The underlying mantra of our team is driven by the desire to provide unsurpassed & compassionate patient care along with exceptional client service, both to our external and internal clients.

Our Team:  Our busy primary care DVM group refer and co-manage cases with each of the specialty departments. We also have an onsite Board-Certified Anesthesiologist who provides oversight for each individual anesthetic case. Other specialties include Medical Oncology, Neurology, Radiology, Dermatology, Emergency / Critical Care, Ophthalmology, Theriogenology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery.

Diagnostic Capabilities: We offer a wide array of diagnostics, including a 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT, fluoroscopy, and an onsite reference laboratory which includes a cytologist.
