Summit Veterinary Referral Center is seeking a third cardiologist to join our growing team here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Our emergency and specialty hospital is the region's premiere tertiary referral center and our thriving team currently consists of 6 surgeons, 4 internists, 3 neurologists, 3 oncologists, 2 cardiologists, 2 criticalists, 2 ophthalmologists, 2 radiologists, 1 anesthesiologist, 1 nutritionist, and 9 internship-trained emergency doctors.

We are located in the southern Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington which is a perfect launch point for the amazing natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Tacoma is one of the most affordable cities in the region and is closely surrounded by charming maritime communities for those who prefer a more relaxed pace.

Our cardiologists enjoy a flexible work schedule (3 or 4 day work week) and ample vacation time to prioritize life-work balance. We are also open to nontraditional schedules. We also offer competitive compensation (guaranteed base + production) and a robust benefits plan.

We would welcome a cardiologist who wants to join the interventional cardiology team, however, we would also support a focus on medical cardiology, if that is your preference. We have a brand new, state-of-the-art fluoroscopy suite and an anesthesiologist to support your complex cases. We have 2 new echocardiography machines (GE Vivid IQ and Philips Affinity) as well as a new 4D transesophageal echocardiography probe. The hospital also has a 64 slice multidetector CT scanner, MRI, telemetry with remote access, digital radiography, 7 surgical suites, endoscopy, ultrasound, and more.
