Veterinary Medical Oncologist Wanted In Yonkers, New York
*Medical Director option available if interested*
If you’re looking for a place where you show up at work and practice medicine the way someone tells you to practice, ASC is not the hospital for you. If you’re looking for a place where you get to use your skills, intelligence, creativity and personality to make an impact and create patient care standards, then let’s talk. At Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, NY, you will find a unique dynamic where all of your leadership support exists on site with the autonomy to oversee a hospital for and by the employees. All growth and leadership positions are developed internally and opened internally for a sustainable culture. Our clinical support staff and clinicians have opportunities available to them outside of patient care to support diverse goals and key strengths. Animal Specialty Center is an established ER/CC and Specialty hospital that has seen many changes over the past; we are now standing on the horizon of rebuilding in many ways. We are looking for like-minded, outcome oriented, critically sound individuals to join our team and be a part of something more than 'the grass is greener on the other side' mentality.
Additionally, if you have an interest in a leadership role, we are looking for a medical director as well. As a medical director we are looking for a leader that embodies the following:
- Finds joy in inspiring and enriching other’s lives
- Seeks to understand
- Is discovering or has discovered their personal ‘why’
- Looks past the surface and finds the gems
- Isn’t afraid of genuine candid conversations
- Wants to be a part of changing the way veterinary hospitals work
- Digs in to challenges with an investment for outcome
- Is looking for a strong partnership with a CVPM Hospital Director
- Desires to strengthen his/her/their leadership style
We’ve recently welcomed new team members to ASC who made the decision to join a hospital where their voice is welcomed at the table: 2 new critical care clinicians and 1 new internist.
Our employees have access to many benefits including annual uniform allowance through an online platform, weekly dry cleaning, comprehensive health, dental and mental health plans, health savings, retirement, referral and incentive bonuses, on-site CE, annual CE allowance, and generous vacation, sick and CE paid time off.
Additionally, we offer consistent review and development schedules for our team, including our clinicians. Our employees are involved in hospital finance discussions and are encouraged to continually update their resumes for coaching and growth. We take pride in creating an atmosphere where people are invested and engaged and we encourage our employees to be true to themselves and what they need in their careers.
Opportunity Details:
- Work Schedule – 4 days per week; have the autonomy to build your schedule collaboratively with hospital leadership to meet both your needs and hospital needs; we strongly support professional boundaries
- Competitive Base Salary
- Sign-On Bonus
- Retention Bonus
- CE Allowance and additional time off
