It is the unique family relationship/dynamic you get to experience within each hospital, while allowing a wide scope of collaborative relationships with doctors of all specialties within our hospital system. “
The Oncology service is very busy, and we seek a third veterinarian to help us continue providing excellent care to our clients. The Oncology service is well-staffed, with veterinary nurses that are great communicators with a strong work ethic and, importantly, a sense of humor!! We have a high quality ultrasound, MRI AND CT along with 24-hour patient hospitalization. Our clinic performed a large renovation to be compliant with USP guidelines, providing the safest work environment for our oncology team. We have a dedicated chemotherapy suite with a negative pressure room - chemotherapy is prepared in a class II, type B2 certified biological safety cabinet with the Equashield safety system. An adjacent quiet room is utilized for chemotherapy administration. You’ll have the opportunity to work with our existing team of boarded Medical and Radiation Oncologists in a fun, collaborative environment!
Matthews is a suburb of Charlotte and both are a wonderful place to live, full of all kinds of activities, and within driving distance of many others. We have a rich cultural scene with theater, opera, symphony, art museums, and concerts. Excellent school systems both public and private! We host major league football and basketball teams, as well as minor league hockey and baseball. Charlotte is home to the US National Whitewater Center, and Charlotte Motor Speedway. In two hours, you can be in the mountains to camp, hike, rock climb, or just relax. In four hours you can be at the beach. We have several lakes located in the Charlotte metro area, with great opportunities to live near the water. Our airport is a major hub, making air travel easy. Amtrak passenger trains also come through Charlotte as they move up and down the east coast.
We offer a range of great compensation packages, including competitive salary, benefits, generous CE allowance including additional time off for CE, productivity bonuses, reimbursement of membership dues, relocation assistance (if applicable), uniform program, pet care discount, and PTO. We take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. Our employees’ quality of life outside of the practice is something we strongly value and support.
