Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center (VERC) is looking for a Cardiologist to join our team here on the island of Oahu. Home to world famous beaches, centuries of unique culture and gentle weather, Hawaii is the change of scenery you are looking for. Our hospital sits in the heart of downtown Honolulu and delivers 24-hour emergency and specialty care.
The successful candidate will be a residency trained or board-certified Cardiologist, motivated, and energetic. We are looking for someone who fits in well with our team, stays up to date with changing medical guidance in their field, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
VERC is the most progressive and advanced 24-hour emergency and specialty referral hospital in the state of Hawaii. Our exceptional staff includes specialists in internal medicine, critical care, surgery, oncology, neurology and radiology, as well as highly trained and experienced emergency veterinarians. We emphasize a collaborative approach to medicine and our specialists, emergency doctors, technicians, and client care staff work very closely together with our referring veterinarians to provide great care to our patients and their human companions.
We have just moved into our newly built 17,250 square foot facility with a dedicated cardiology suite, Hawaii’s first veterinary MRI and an upgrade to a 128-slice CT. Currently, VERC is proud to offer CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house laboratory, laparoscopy/thoracoscopy/arthroscopy, electrochemotherapy, fluoroscopy and endoscopy. We are equipped with GE Vivid E95 ultrasound, EchoPAC Software, Philips PageWriter TC70, Holter devices and telemetry
