Opportunity for a Veterinary Internist in Charlotte, NC includes lucrative sign on bonus!

Dr. Steven Cogar is a successful Surgeon and Medical Director who joined the Winston Salem CVS hospital in 2011. He wanted to share his inspiring thoughts with Veterinary Specialists who are interested in any CVS hospital:  “My original draw and attraction to Carolina Veterinary Specialists remains the same to this day.  It is the unique family relationship/dynamic you get to experience within each hospital, while allowing a wide scope of collaborative relationships with doctors of all specialties within our hospital system. “

If this resonates with you, lets schedule a call to discuss this unique opportunity as a second Internal Medicine Specialist at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC. Our Internal Medicine caseload is heavy and in need of another Internist. There is no growth that needs to occur! You will slide right in to a busy schedule. Our clients also tend to be much more laid back than those in larger cities!

CVS Charlotte’s skilled Internal Medicine technicians run the service like a well-oiled machine. Our hospital is well-equipped with everything you need to provide excellent care. We won't bore you with the list. Please ask and we’re happy to provide specifics!

Our Surgeon, Internist, Ophthalmologist, Radiologist, Criticalist, Oncologist and Emergency Veterinarians work together towards the common goal of providing excellent patient care.  The Neurologist at our nearby, at our sister hospital in Winston Salem is always willing to fit our cases in.

Quality of life outside of the practice is something we strongly support. For this reason, our ER vets work a combination of daytime and overnight shifts, never more than 4 shifts in a row, with big blocks of time off.  This allows ample time to enjoy the North Carolina mountains, beaches, lakes and multiple sporting events – all within an easy drive.  The Piedmont area of North Carolina is home to professional football, basketball, baseball and hockey.  We have unique attractions including Charlotte Motor Speedway and the US National Whitewater Center.  Air and train travel are both easily accessible.

At CVS, we take the health and well-being of our employees seriously, offering flexible working conditions and encouraging a well-rounded work/life balance. We offer a great compensation package, including a competitive salary, health insurance, 401K, PTO, generous CE allowance, additional PTO for CE, and reimbursement for membership and license fees. If this sounds like a team you want to be a part of, please email your resume to Jessica Jones at jjones@petvetcarecenters.com or apply at https://www.petvetcareers.com/.
