The Oncology Service (TOS) has a unique opportunity for a veterinary medical oncologist to join our practice in Richmond, Virginia! TOS is dedicated to the integration of personalized and compassionate care with cutting edge options for cancer.
The Oncology Service in Richmond is equipped with new Heska Element blood analyzers capable of providing CBC, chemistry, ionized calcium, electrolyte, and blood gas results in less than 15 minutes, a brand new, top of the line, Vet-Ray digital X-ray unit, 8-slice GE CT scanner, and a Varian linear accelerator capable of IMRT/IGRT/SRT. We are one of the only veterinary oncology facilities to utilize Scopio, an advanced slide scanning device with capability to submit slides to a pathologist and receive results in as little as 30 minutes.
This opportunity would provide support, collaboration, and mentorship from the other medical oncologists in our practices, Drs. Angharad Waite, Christina Manley, and Kathleen Tidd as well as radiation oncologist Drs. Ira Gordon and Pamela White.

- Opportunity to work collaboratively with our team of 8 veterinarians exclusively dedicated to providing the highest level of medical and radiation oncology care including 5 board-certified oncologists as well as access to numerous other specialists within the Ethos Veterinary Health network.
- Teaching opportunities with house officers (oncology interns and residents)
- Our practice includes direct access to clinical trials through our close relationship with Ethos Discovery and Animal Clinical Investigation.
