Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado (VRCC) in Englewood, a suburb of Denver, Colorado, is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Small Animal Veterinary Internist to practice in our brand-new second facility.
VRCC is a 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital. VRCC was founded in 1991 and has steadily grown to include members of all specialties - Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Dentistry, Emergency and Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Medical and Radiation Oncology and Surgery.
Our Internal Medicine department is well-established in the Denver community, allowing for a large and interesting caseload. We have an incredibly close team who enjoy working together and spending time together outside of work. You will always hear laughing coming from the IM department! The Internal Medicine service has their own ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopes, procedure room, and well-trained technicians. Currently, all of our internists perform their own ultrasounds.
Our current building is 18,800 square feet and we have officially outgrown it. We are nearing completion on construction on our new building at River Point. The new building will hold our radiation oncology department and Varian CLinAc 21X Linear Accelerator.
VRCC also has CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, an in house lab, and Antech is down the street. We have two anesthesiologists, who are available to run anesthesia for unstable cases. We will also be adding a GE LightSpeed RT 16 wide-bore CT scanner in the new building. You can learn more about our hospital at https://www.vrcc.com/.
We offer an exceptionally competitive compensation and benefits package with and relocation assistance. Contact Dr. Meredith Robbins at firstname.lastname@example.org to be connected with our Medical Director and Hospital Manager for a confidential discussion.
