Job Description:

VCA Ocean Beach Animal Hospital located in Longview, WA is looking for a Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

We pride ourselves on working together as a team with our strong well-trained technical support staff. Ocean Beach has been at its present location for over 45 years and is the leader in veterinary care in the local community. We have a reputation for high-quality medicine and excellent client service with Full DR, dental DR, ultrasound and a Fear Free trained staff.

Our focus is on doctor quality of life, with a schedule that includes a four day week, a rotating half day on Saturday, and no after-hours calls.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like a practice owner. Plus, you'll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed.

Longview is located only one hour from Portland, OR and two hours from Seattle. Situated on the banks of the mighty Columbia River with a backdrop of forests and mountains, there are many opportunities for year-round recreation.
