Job Description:

VCA All Pets Animal Hospital located in Lockport, Illinois is seeking a friendly, energetic and passionate Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

We are a three-doctor, small animal practice, providing progressive, high-quality medicine while maintaining a compassionate and friendly environment.

VCA All Pets has been part of the Lockport community for over 30 years, our practice is well established and continues to grow. Our 12,000 sq. ft. hospital is well equipped with spacious exam rooms, an updated treatment area, surgery suite, dental area, digital radiography, ultrasound, a full pharmacy, therapeutic laser, roomy boarding accommodations, daycare and much more!

At our clinic, you will appreciate a great working environment with an experienced and well trained team of support staff. We enthusiastically embrace the latest trends and technologies in veterinary medicine and we encourage our all of our doctors to pursue their individual interests. If there is an area of veterinary medicine you are passionate about or if there is something you would like to learn more about, we want to support you in your goals. Our doctors enjoy a set schedule, with desirable hours, and a manageable workload. We are open six days a week, scheduling 30 minute appointments and a dedicated surgery day; giving you the time you need to spend with your patients/clients, as well as the benefit of knowing what is coming through the door. Picturesque Lockport is located 30 miles southwest of downtown Chicago and is situated along the historic Illinois and Michigan Canal. It has a park district that manages and maintains 38 parks and several recreational programs with the goal to enrich the quality of life of the community. Downtown Lockport is home to several museum, all within walking distance of one another, boutique shops, and excellent dining. Lockport has a station on the Metra's heritage corridor providing weekday rush hour rail service between Joliet and Chicago. The city continues to develop both in terms of many new homes and new businesses entering the area.
