VCA Aurora Animal Hospital's Internal Medicine team invites you to be our newest Patient Care Coordinator!

VCA Aurora Animal Hospital , located in Aurora, Il , offers a wide range of specialty, critical care, emergency service, and primary care.

Our Internal Medicine Service:

Internal Medicine specialists are often considered the puzzle solvers of Veterinary Medicine. VCA Aurora's Internal Medicine s ervice is equipped to deal with whatever problem a patient brings-no matter how common or rare, or how simple or complex. Our Internal Medicine service diagnoses and treats the many serious diseases that can affect our patients' internal body systems.

As a n Internal Medicine Patient Care Coordinator, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

Duties will include:

• Heavy client contact, including in-depth client education about diseases and patient management.
  
• Accurately entering charges.
  
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services.
  

• Filling prescriptions.
  
• Maintaining and updating patient records.
  
• Presenting and explaining treatment plans to clients.
  
• Discharging patients to clients.
  

Schedule: Full-time opportunity , We utilize a "4×10" schedule (4-day work week, 10-hour shifts).

Requirements: 1 year of veterinary experience required . Excellent oral and written communication skills.
