Job Description:

VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join both our expanding Medical and Radiation Oncology Departments. Previous experience in oncology is not required but veterinary work experience is preferred. To work with our fast growing team, you must be both patient and client focused in your work and have flexibility with scheduling based on patient need.

The medical and radiation oncology teams work both closely together and in the larger scope of the hospital for the best patient care possible. We utilize top of the line equipment comparable to any human hospital. This includes a Varian Halcyon Linear Accelerator , a 64-slice CT, and state of the art ultra sound. The department is also able to offer a 4 or 5 day work week with very limited work outside of your normally scheduled hours. At VCA Advanced Pet CancerCare Center, our multidisciplinary oncology team designs an individualized treatment plan for each pet patient using the most advanced and effective treatments available-much like those used in human medicine. Even better, today's cancer treatments are often much quicker with far fewer side effects, so pets remain comfortable and happy throughout treatment.

VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center, located in Fishers, IN, is open 24/7, 365 days a year, and our services and medical equipment mirror what one would find at a human medical center. A full complement of services is offered including 24- hour Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Advanced Imaging, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation, ICW, and Nutrition. Our caseload is diverse, and the opportunities to keep learning and grow at our hospital are immense.
