Job Description:
VCA Northview Animal Hospital Specialty Referral Center (www.vcanorthview.com) is seeking a F/T Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine (IM) team. We are an AAHA accredited Specialty and General Practice in Pittsburgh, PA.
The qualified candidate will share our passion for medicine, while being dedicated to creating and maintaining a healthy work environment and integrating into the IM team. We are looking for team members who will provide top notch, compassionate care to our patients, while fostering excellent client relationships and communication. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the IM department flow including appointments, performing diagnostics which include digital radiography, ECG, digital ultrasound, endoscopy, and CT, chemotherapy administration, monitoring anesthesia, maintaining treatments while in hospital, and admitting and discharging patients.

Previous experience in veterinary internal medicine is a plus, but other types of technician experience will be considered, including non-credentialed candidates. On-the-job training is available to the qualified candidate who has the desire to grow and expand their knowledgebase, and the ability to learn.
This position is primarily daytime Monday through Thursday.
