Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center (VERC)  is an advanced 24-hour veterinary emergency and specialty hospital. Our dedicated board-certified specialists and highly-trained emergency professionals provide a collaborative approach to veterinary medicine. Supported by our newly built, 17,250 square foot state-of-the-art facility with a USP-800 compliant oncology suite and advanced diagnostic equipment including ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, 128-slice CT scan, the state’s first veterinary MRI, fluoroscopy, and in-house laboratory, we offer the most comprehensive and progressive patient care on the Hawaiian Islands. Our exceptional staff includes specialists in critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, oncology, and radiology, as well as experienced emergency veterinarians.

The successful candidate for the position of Internist will be residency trained or board-certified in internal medicine, motivated, and energetic.  We are looking for someone who fits in well with our team, someone driven to practice up to date medicine and someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
