Job Details

Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego – North County is seeking a 4th full-time board-certified Internist or residency trained veterinarian to join our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Referral hospital in San Marcos, California just North of San Diego.  The area is perfectly situated to provide ready access to world famous beaches, snow-capped mountains, wine country and more.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy being a team player, have an interest in helping to expand and grow the department and hospital, and possess strong time management skills.  We are looking for an Internist who prides themselves on practicing high quality, advanced medicine, provides individualized care for their patients and will be motivated to excel in a fast-paced, growing hospital with a readiness to share their knowledge and skills amongst their peers.   

 

Our Hospital:

Our 16K sq ft. state-of-the-art hospital includes two treatment wards, 9 exam rooms, four surgical suites and a dedicated internal medicine endoscopy suite. Our advanced care equipment includes digital radiography, multiple ultrasound units, 128 slice CT with pressure injector for angiogram studies, new fluoroscopic unit with cardiovascular package,1.5T MRI, laparoscopy, endoscopy and onsite rehabilitation services with underwater treadmill, laser, musculoskeletal ultrasound and more.
