VSCOT's 32,000 sq. ft. hospital was opened in July 2004 and features a separate emergency entrance and lobby, 16 exam rooms, 4 surgical suites, video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cages, Pulmonetics ventilator, Telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab, spiral CT scanner, and new MRI. In addition to standard full blood analysis, our in-house lab equipment includes a colloid osmometer, lactatometer, coagulation monitoring (PT/PTT), microscope, and blood typing/crossmatching.
