Job Details
Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (MVES) is seeking a neurologist to join our amazing team of specialists.
MVES was founded in 1993 with a commitment to our RDVM’s, their clients, and pets. We have not varied from that commitment. Daily communication with RDVM’s and clients are the norm for our practice. We work diligently to reinforce those interpersonal relationships that provide the cornerstone to our success. Our growth and success can be attributed to our commitment to our clients and referring veterinarians, collaboration and education.
Collaboration: Our specialists include 4 surgeons, 3 internists, 1 cardiologist, 1 criticalist, and 1 oncologist. We have a full-time ER service with 18 ER doctors. Our docs are committed to creating a seamless transition for case management, and our top priority is the best care for each patient. That translates to cooperation between specialists and ER doctors to provide top-quality care. Case transfers occur daily with direct communication between our specialists.
Education: MVES offers a rotating internship, a surgical internship, and surgical residency. We provide weekly radiology rounds for our interns and residents, and they also experience daily ICU rounds in the morning before specialists’ appointments. Our interns and residents also have formal presentations during the year. We work hard to provide opportunities for each intern and resident to reach their professional aspirations. In addition, we provide an ER doctor mentor program for new graduates and doctors interested in ER medicine.
Make a Thriving Practice Stronger
MVES has grown into one of the most respected hospitals in the KC metro and the four-state region. As we continue to strive for excellence, we need a neurologist to help us achieve our goals. You will be a catalyst for MVES growth and the development of our neurology team. If you are looking for a hospital with a great culture where people genuinely like each other and practice a high level of medicine, join MVES and become the reason why we become an even better practice.
