Toronto Animal Hospital Partners (AHP) has an exciting opportunity for a skilled full time board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist to join our team.  AHP opened in 2019 and is modeled after best practices in human medicine with five core principles: quality, compassion, service, innovation, and partnership.   The cardiology service is well equipped with a Vivid E90 echo unit with transesophageal capability and a separate EchoPAC workstation, paper and digital (Beecardia) ECG units, and ALBA Holter monitors.We have a fluoroscopy unit (GE OEC 9900 C-arm) which, along with an advanced anesthesia service and trained, dedicated cardiology technicians will support a cardiologist interested in interventional procedures. .  Out of hours cardiac patient care is provided by a strong 24 hour ER service and an ICU staffed with 4 critical care specialists. Our specialty teams, including neurology, internal medicine, oncology, anesthesia, critical care and surgery work in tandem with our busy ER service, to provide comprehensive treatment for all patients. Other advanced equipment in the hospital includes a 3 Tesla MRI (with cardiac-gating capability), CT (32 slice), mechanical ventilation, endoscopy, EEG, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Provincial DVM licensing, or eligibility to be licensed
• ACVIM or ECVIM, Cardiology board certification or eligibility 
• Passion for what you do every day
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude
• A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
• Excellent communication skills
