General Job Description
Medical Directors are a hybrid position between clinical duties and management duties. You work closely with your support staff, clients and patients on the clinic floor, and with the hospital manager and Director of Hospital Operations to lead the hospital’s medical care and business. You will also learn new skills as a leader – learning from other medical directors as well as the hospital manager and DHO. You are given reimbursement annually to attend management CE outside of SAGE. SAGE also has regular hospital leadership team meetings to enhance leadership skills.

Schedule:
The Medical Director position is part-time management (estimated 25%) and part-time on clinics (estimated 75%).

Compensation/Benefits:

• The best deserve to be compensated as such. You will receive pay as a clinician as well as a Medical Director.
• SAGE also provides a benefits package with generous employer cost sharing that includes medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, commuter benefits, cell phone plan, California licensing fees, liability insurance, uniforms, veterinary association memberships, CE reimbursement annually, ultrasound training, a 401(k) plan that can include employer contributions of up to 3% each year.
• As a Medical Director, we also have you lead other doctor teams to assist with driving the best quality medicine at SAGE, such as the SAGE Medical Advisory Board to help with decisions related to medical care and opportunities to provide CE to our SAGE employees.
