Veterinarian, Oncology –  Concord and Dublin, CA

Who we are:
SAGE Veterinary Centers has moved into its beautiful new hospital in Concord, CA, and we are looking for residency-trained veterinarian or boarded Oncologist to join our team. We are also adding Oncologists to our teams in Dublin. We are a network of emergency and specialty hospitals that has set many trends in Veterinary Oncology. Our doctors were among the first to use Electrochemotherapy in California, and this continues to be one of the treatments we offer at our Concord, Campbell, Dublin and Redwood City, CA hospitals. SAGE also partners with PetCure Oncology at our Campbell hospital to offer stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and we were the first veterinary hospital in the United States to use Varian’s linear accelerator, the Halcyon treatment system. And, our Veterinary Oncologists regularly get involved in Clinical Trials that have the potential to make a huge difference in cancer patients' lives and advance veterinary medicine.

Who you are:
If you are an experienced Oncologist or have completed your residency training and are seeking a practice where you can collaborate with specialists including Surgeons, Internists, Criticalists, and Anesthesiologists, we want to hear from you. We are seeking Oncologists to join our Concord, CA practice. We also have opportunities at our Dublin hospital. These locations both have existing and diverse case loads.

Some of our values in action:

  • Collaboration:  With multiple specialties supporting our Oncology department, you’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge with a brilliant and diverse community of doctors.
  • Sustainability:  As our industry changes, smaller, doctor-led community practices are becoming rarer. We are constantly enhancing our model and growth strategy to ensure that the SAGE way thrives and spreads, keeping our core values and methods intact.
  • Compassion:  Our work is about caring for living creatures, no matter how many legs they use.  We place compassion first for our patients and their people.
  • Innovation:  Top technology and top skills - we are about pushing the envelope to serve our community.
