Led by our Medical Director, who is residency trained in emergency/critical care and a wonderful mentor, we have over 100 years of combined experience to share with you. We enjoy a case load so diverse that it brings us externs and preceptors from all over the country.  All our doctors love to mentor and to teach. Do you love internal medicine? Our fully staffed ICU averages 6-20 admissions per day of complex direct or referral cases. Do you want to learn more about surgery? Our surgeons, while not board certified, perform surgeries ranging from the basics to to GDVs and PUs. Do you like dentistry? We have fantastic team of dental trained technicians to help! For complex work like jaw fractures, we even have a super dentist on staff.

Do you want toys? We have them. We believe in giving our doctors all the equipment needed to practice the best medicine possible.  We have extensive Abaxis and Idexx in-house lab capabilities including many of the less commonly run tests. We have all the cool toys such as digital radiology, cold laser, surgical laser, video endoscopy, and more. Our favorite toy is our new GE Logiq ultrasound machine which replaced our previous machine that we wore out. Ultrasound is a frequent diagnostic tool in our hospital, and associates are encourage to attend CE in ultrasound to learn this valuable skill. Also, our hospital will be undergoing a renovation in the next couple of years which includes the addition of CT.

One of the best things about working with us is our nursing staff. They permit us to be doctors. In fact, if you try to place an IV, they will be outright offended. In addition to our incredible ICU technicians, we maintain staffing levels at a comfortable 1:4 ratio. We have a marvelous team to help us every day and our technicians and support staff are as passionate about their work as we are.

What about work-life balance? Glad you asked! Our team, from kennel help to doctors, is a very much like a huge family. You’ll never start a shift without at least half a dozen greetings!  That complex medical case you admitted 2 days ago but still isn’t ready for discharge? No problem. We transfer cases back and forth all the time so we can enjoy our days off. We work rotating 4 day on/4 day off schedules, which means that every other month is saturated with nice, long,  4-day weekends. You can have a 12 day break by only taking off 4 scheduled days! And from the top down, we all support  each other’s time off. We work hard, but every one of knows we need to play hard to balance that.

Our hospital is located in Arlington (home of the Texas Rangers) but we are only minutes away from Forth Worth, the 5^th largest city in Texas and part of the 4^th largest metropolitan area in the nation.

There we have a world-renowned cultural district packed with museums, Sundance Square, a 35 block downtown entertainment district and Bass Hall, one of the best performing arts centers in the country. You can chill at the Fort Worth Zoo, explore the Stockyards National Historic District, or get revved up at the Texas Motor Speedway. Fort Worth has something for everyone! Dallas is also nearby, but can you tell we are Fort Worth fans?

Our city enjoys a lush bedroom community with towns such as Mansfield, Weatherford, Aledo, Grand Prairie, Keller, South Lake and numerous others. Mansfield has been voted by Money Magazine’s top 50 “Best Places to Live” 4 times! Many of these bedroom communities have top rated schools and quality housing available that allows you to live in quiet areas while only being minutes from all the action!

But what about the money?  When you combine our generous base salary with production packages with our expansive case load, our doctors enjoy some of the highest annual compensations in the industry.
