Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group is an independently owned 24-hour small animal emergency and referral hospital in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.  Our unique group includes specialists in surgery. theriogenology, cardiology sports medicine and rehabilitation, emergency and critical care and radiology in addition to our team of dedicated ER doctors. We have an established internal medicine practice.

We are looking for a board certified internist or individual with credentials accepted by ACVIM who is motivated to develop our expanding internal medicine case load.  The candidate would be in a unique position to build their ideal department.  A collaborative, collegial approach and excellent client and referring veterinarian communication is essential in a candidate.

Our new 20,000 square foot hospital is well equipped; including a CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy/laparoscopy, Companion Laser, mechanical ventilation and in-house blood bank. Our in-house IDEXX and Heska laboratory equipment includes a Vet-Stat, ProCyte Dx, Catalyst Dx EPOC and Elementi+ in addition to an in-house Immulite.

The culture at CVSG supports a balance between work and play with a 4 day work week and 3 day weekends.  Our location in Littleton provides easy access to the mountains and downtown Denver.  We encourage our team to take advantage of the opportunities Colorado provides for outdoor and cultural activities.

Starting salary is competitive with additional production-based incentives.  The benefits package includes: employer sponsored health insurance, available vision and dental insurance, professional liability coverage, professional licensing and membership fees, a generous CE allowance, 401(k) with matching contributions, paid time off and a relocation expense allowance.
