VCA Cheshire Animal Hospital is seeking an Internist to join our established and growing hybrid practice (specialty/24-hour emergency/general practice).
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be motivated, confident, and dedicated to delivering the highest quality medicine and the best possible experience for clients and referring veterinarians.
We currently have a skilled team of experienced Doctors including a board certified Internist, board certified Surgeon, board certified Cardiologist, 6 Emergency Doctors and 2 General Practitioners.
Our newly renovated internal medicine suite is fully equipped with a new high quality ultrasound machine (GE Logic P6), extensive rigid and flexible endoscopy equipment, and a new CT. Additional diagnostic capabilities within our hospital include an extensive in house laboratory, digital radiology, echocardiography, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy. Exciting hospital renovations are coming soon.
VCA Cheshire Animal Hospital has an outstanding referral community including veterinarians in Fairfield County, Litchfield County, New Haven County, Middlesex County, and Hartford County. This area of Connecticut offers fantastic quality of life with ample access to outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, water sports, ocean beaches, etc) and culture (theatre, music, dining, etc), as well as easy access to NYC and Boston.
