Medical Director in Roseville, CA

Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center in Roseville, CA is seeking a Medical Director.  We are a 24/7 referral hospital in the central Roseville area serving a large referral base. 

We are excited to announce that in the summer of 2023 we will be moving into our beautiful new 18,000 ft plus hospital and adding specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Radiology and Ophthalmology. This is a great time for an MD to come on board and help us build the culture and future of the hospital!

The Role: The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing the medical operations within the hospital, serving as a mentor to staff, and leading the advancement of high-quality patient care and client service. The Medical Director will also collaborate with the Hospital Director to maintain and build our relationships with the referring community.

Under the direction of the Regional Medical Director, this person will collaborate with our other hospitals within the Ethos network to evaluate and implement best practices.  In addition, the Medical Director will play a significant part in the decision-making process and implementation of any new initiatives within the hospital.

We are seeking technically advanced individuals in their field who possess strong emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will be an experienced specialist or emergency veterinarian. They will have proven leadership abilities, strong mentoring and team-building skills, excellent communication with colleagues and the referring community, and a foundation of business skills to work alongside the Hospital Director to support the growing success of the hospital.

• Full Heska in-house lab In-house coag and blood gas Digital radiology with remote radiologist read In-house ultrasound Full surgical suites Oxygen cages among other patient bedside care and monitoring equipment. We will be adding all the most advanced equipment for our specialists in our new hospital, including a 128-slice CT and 1.5T MRI.
