Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist to join our state-of-the-art, brand new 45,000 sq ft facility.

From its humble beginnings as an after-hours emergency clinic in 1977 AERA is a state-of-the-art hospital with specialists in Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, and Surgery.  We recently hired a Radiation Oncologist who starts this August.  We moved into a brand new, beautiful 45,000 square foot (!!) facility just down the road from our current location.  With on-site MRI, CT, Varian Halcyon, C-Arm, and other state-of-the-art equipment our doctors have everything they need to practice superior quality medicine.

Fairfield offers some of the best that New Jersey has to offer.  Want to live in the city? New York City is just 25 miles away and an easy reverse commute.  Looking to live in the country?  The Kittatinny mountains and lakes of northern NJ are minutes away.  Love to travel?  Newark Airport is only a 1/2 an hour away.

We are looking for veterinarians who choose to dedicate themselves to practice at a very high level. We only select those individuals that have outstanding abilities and are truly committed to excellence; not only technically, but also in terms of communication, compassion/empathy, and leadership. Our goals are keeping the best interests of the patient and pet owners at the forefront of all decisions, and promoting a culture of respect, compassion, and professional excellence in all we do.
