Virginia Veterinary Centers is continuing to grow, and we are looking for an additional Medical Oncologist to join our busy team. We are in the process of building a brand new 30,000 sq foot facility that will be in Short Pump, VA. Once the new hospital is built, we will be adding radiation oncology to complement our oncology team and help more patients.

Our current referral services include boarded specialists in Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Dentistry, as well as Oncology. We pride ourselves on our amazing team and the retention of our medical staff and veterinarians. Our fantastic team works together to deliver high-quality medicine in a casual atmosphere. Our hospitals have the capability to offer CT, radioactive iodine therapy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and minimally invasive surgery.

Short Pump is located about 15 miles outside of Richmond which is officially one of the best places in the world!!

Richmond has a wealth of history and a growing slate of breweries. Our 17th street farmer’s market has been going strong since 1737 and is one of the oldest public markets in the nation! Richmond’s wall art is taking over the world, and the mountains are practically right outside our doorstep as well as the beaches.  We are known as The River City because the James River Park System covers over 550 acres of shorelines and islands offer much to do, including class IV rapids.  We have all the amenities of larger cities, but our cost of living is not as high. Richmond enjoys beautiful weather with the ability to experience all four seasons.

We would love for you to bring your expertise and join our amazing team as an additional medical oncologist.
