Nashville Veterinary Specialists seeks a Medical Oncologist
NVS is a young, but well-established and growing 24-hour emergency and specialty practice with a referral base of more than 200 veterinarians and a growing caseload. We are seeking a full-time board-certified or residency-trained oncologist but are open to part-time or locum oncologists as well to provide support in conjunction with our current full-time oncologist.
Come join a dynamic team that includes Diplomates in anesthesiology, emergency & critical care, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, cardiology, and neurology as well as teleradiology 24/7. We have a growing internship program and are committed to teaching and training our team to provide the highest level of care. Our specialty equipment includes on-site CT and MRI, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, cystoscopy, and electrodiagnostic. Round-the-clock care is provided for all our patients through our 24-hour emergency services, and we have a dedicated ICU.
Our hospital is a newly constructed 26,000-square-foot campus, and we are expanding to provide even more dedicated space for our team. We are also deeply committed to environmental sustainability and supporting our community through volunteer work.
In addition to a competitive salary, NVS offers a comprehensive benefits package and a relocation bonus. We are looking for hardworking and compassionate individuals with broad abilities and a strong desire to contribute to our family and team environment. NVS focuses on continually working to improve the quality of care we provide to our patients, the client and experience, and the health of our team. We strive to create a balance between work and home life as well as promote respect and clear communication between everyone in our organization.
GQ Magazine calls Nashville "Nowville," referring to the city's strong business climate, mild weather, good schools, and fabulous lifestyle. There is easy access to outdoor activities like hiking and water sports, professional sports teams, and arguably the country's best music scene. Yes, we have all types of music, not just country.
