Are you an Oncologist looking to walk into a busy, pre-existing caseload? Do you enjoy working in a large, multi-specialty hospital with a spirit of collaboration, innovation, and individuality? If so, Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) wants to hear from you!

 

Our 60,000 sq-ft hospital has a 1.5 T MRI, 64- slice CT, a Varian Halcyon radiation therapy system capable of advanced radiation therapy modalities as well as an Interventional Radiology Suite. We currently have specialty practices in Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Allergy, Avian and Exotics, Cardiology, Behavioral Therapy, and Anesthesiology.  In addition to the specialty services, we have a 24/7/365 emergency service with a team of dedicated ER doctors and Criticalists.

 

We enjoy the camaraderie between specialists that a large practice affords and support each other in the pursuit of practicing the highest quality veterinary medicine.   With a focus on education, we have a large and robust intern, specialty intern, and residency (radiology and neurology) program, as well as abundant opportunities to interact with the general practitioners in the area through monthly rounds meetings and our annual symposium.  

 

Our Oncologists will enjoy a dedicated support team including 3 LVT’s, 4 technicians, and 3 client service coordinators.
