New River Veterinary Specialists is actively hiring to add a Board-Certified Oncologist, or Board-eligible Veterinary Oncologist to our team.

Our privately-owned facility is located 25 minutes from historic Savannah, GA and 12 minutes from the beaches of Hilton Head Island, SC.  NRVS is a brand-new custom built 15,000-square foot state of the art facility with a full in-house lab, 16-slice helical CT, 1.5-telsa MRI, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology suite, multiple ultrasounds, in house blood bank and component therapy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, full service sports medicine and rehabilitation department and a dedicated intensive care unit including long-term mechanical ventilation. 

Our oncology department is equipped with a USP 800 approved hood and chemotherapy suite, dedicated examination and procedure area with the plan to add radiation therapy department in the future.

The NRVS team currently includes 2 Internists, 3 Criticalists, 2 Surgeons (1 also Certified in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine), 1 Neurologist, 1 part time Anesthesiologist, 11 Emergency doctors, a VTS-ECC and an amazing teams of technicians. Our Internal Medicine service runs an active interventional radiology and interventional urology service completed with Holmium laser. We are also actively adding Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Dermatology to our service offerings.
