Sierra Mobile Veterinary Specialists is a privately owned, solo internist practice, providing ultrasounds and minimally invasive procedures to general practices throughout the greater Sacramento area since 2020. The practice has grown rapidly and the demand for services continues to increase. 

Are you wondering how a mobile internal medicine service works? We bring our skills and equipment to general practices, utilize their facilities, and work directly with the veterinarian. Common procedures include gastroduodenoscopy, cystoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, laparoscopic liver biopsies and ultrasounds. Your technician will meet you at the facility, set up your equipment, help you with sampling, start paperwork, and clean your scope. Your technician will be your scribe for all ultrasounds, and you even get to pick your ideal ultrasound machine!

As for the area, the Sacramento region has so much to offer. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, there are endless options - skiing or snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, river rafting, kayaking, world class mountain biking and hiking.
