Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, located in Woburn, MA, is seeking a third full-time board-certified or board-eligible neurologist to join our expanding team and hospital.

The neurology service has been present since the inception of MVRH in September 2000.  Our department has grown in size and reputation over the past 23 years.  We are reliably available to our referral community.  The department is available for appointments Monday-Saturday with an emergency / on call services on Sundays.

The service is supported by full-time client concierges dedicated to neurology, an experienced team of neurology technicians and an MRI certified technician that has been with MVRH from day one.  All MRI’s are performed by the neurology department allowing efficiency and high daily volume.    There is a two table, surgical suite dedicated to neurology. 

We are proudly entering the ninth year of our specialty internship program.  We have been extremely fortunate in successfully matching in the VIRMP and have placed 85% of our previous interns into neurology residencies. 

Our Hospital

Our 36,000 square foot hospital is home to one of the premier 24-hour Level 1 emergency and specialty centers in New England. In addition to Neurology, we offer specialty care in Surgery, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Critical Care in addition to a busy emergency service. The hospital is supported by approximately 65 veterinarians, over 140 veterinary technicians, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, call center, and a compounding pharmacy. Our staff enjoy an excellent collaborative working environment, competitive compensation, continuous learning, and professional growth opportunities at all levels

  • Siemens 1.5T Avanto 18 Channel D13 Software, Toshiba Aquilion 64 Computed Tomography, OEC 9800 Fluoroscopy, Digital radiography with monitors in all OR suites, SOP, VOI, and Arthrex Fracture Plates, Bovie 1250S-V Cautery units.
