Are you ready to call North Carolina home? South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES) - formerly Upstate Vet, Asheville, is GROWING and looking for a second oncologist to join our team!

Come and breathe in the fresh mountain air while working in our state-of-the-art hospital. Minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, scenic hiking trails, and a foodie paradise with 12 James Beard Nominated restaurants and our bustling dog-friendly brewery and bar scene, Asheville is calling your name.

We recently expanded to 28,369 sq. ft. and are able to increase our caseload thanks to the support of a loyal referral community. The right candidate will join a well-rounded team comprised of emergency doctors and specialists in anesthesiology & pain management, critical care, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery.  Bring your talent, energy, strong interpersonal skills, sense of humor, and desire to be a contributing member of our existing team. We offer work-life balance, a competitive base salary, CE allowance, benefits, and a license package.

SAVES is fortunate to have the support of a referral relationship manager and a marketing manager to help drive awareness of the SAVES brand, doctors, and services to both the referral and pet owner communities. We are also proud to be an accredited referral center by the American Animal Hospital Association.
