VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd has an opportunity for an exceptional Oncology Resident to join our highly skilled team of Specialists Veterinarians at Perth Veterinary Specialists (PVS) in Osborne Park, Western Australia. Perth has a Mediterranean climate, with warm summers, mild winters, beautiful beaches, parks and outdoor pursuits.

Perth Veterinary Specialists is one of WA’s longest running specialist referral hospitals, providing the following services; Anaesthesia, Cardiology, Surgery, Oncology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care, and Diagnostic Imaging.

PVS is the only specialist oncology service in Western Australia. Under the guidance of our highly experienced Clinical Director, Dr Jessica Finlay, you will be provided with an unparalleled level of support and a positive learning environment. Secondary supervision will be provided by Dr Ken Wyatt who is a founding Director of PVS. You will also benefit from the support of a highly experienced and dedicated team of oncology nurses.

If you are looking for an opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of specialists and emergency veterinarians, and supported by a dedicated team of nurses, administrative staff and animal attendants, then PVS is the place for you.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, MANZCVS qualified veterinarian (preferred) who has experience working in a busy specialist hospital as an intern and has the goal of attaining Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Medical Oncology. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to thrive in a busy, collaborative environment and will reflect the vision, purpose, and values of providing the highest standard of care to our patients.

Remuneration will include residency program costs and paid leave for externships and training across related disciplines. You will have access to advanced technology and equipment with support for continuing education and professional development.

Our employee benefits include but are not limited to Employee Assistance Program, paid parental leave and discounts on gym memberships through Fitness Passport.

This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our patients and staff. If you are a self-motivated, compassionate veterinarian with a passion for oncology, we would love to hear from you.
