Specialists in Companion Animal Neurology - Clearwater (SCAN) is looking to add a third neurologist to our amazing group of veterinary professionals.  Our neurology/neurosurgery-only practice model allows our team to focus on one discipline which elevates the patient and client experience.  The SCAN practice philosophy is to provide technologically advanced neurology and neurosurgery with unsurpassed patient care and compassion.

We have a fixed 1.5 T high-field MRI, digital x-ray, complete laboratory capabilities, dedicated neurosurgery suites, ultrasonic surgical aspirators and electrodiagnostics.  Our neurologists enjoy case collaboration with our sister location in Naples as well as monthly journal club meetings and shared CE events. We enjoy a collaborative relationship with multi-specialty referral practices nearby for case collaboration and treatment by other disciplines. 

 


Clearwater sits off of Florida's west coast and is a laid-back area is known for its beautiful white sand coastline – U.S. News ranks Clearwater Beach as one of  Florida's best beaches, -# 7 in the US– but you will find many other attractions in the area to enjoy. When you're not at the beach paddleboarding, parasailing, or doing other water activities, you can take some time to enjoy Clearwater Beach's historical theaters, shopping districts, parks, and casual beachfront restaurants. Families will enjoy A+ schools, moderate cost of living and safe communities.
