LOCUM OPPORTUNITY: Canada West Veterinary Specialists

We are seeking a board certified, or residency trained Internist for a maternity leave coverage.

The opportunity ideally would cover from April 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023, but we are flexible with the coverage time frame.

Established in 1997, our 18,000 sq ft VECCS Level 1 certified trauma center hospital is a privately-owned multi-specialty referral practice combined with a dedicated 24-hour Emergency department.  Our team of over 150 veterinary staff includes boarded specialists in internal medicine, oncology, neurology, diagnostic imaging, critical care, and surgery supported by a residency trained anesthesiologist with added services of rehabilitation therapy and in-house reference lab.

Our Internal medicine department is very busy and has a well-established caseload and is supported by an excellent team of technicians and assistants along with a department specific client communications liaison.  Our hospital has advanced imaging equipment including CT and MRI and flexible & rigid scopes.
