Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) is seeking three board-certified internist, or individuals who are residency trained in internal medicine to join our thriving multi-specialty practice in southeastern WI.
- 1 to join our existing internist at our Waukesha location.
- 1 to develop a new service at Racine/Kenosha.
- 1 to develop a new service at our Grafton location.
For the existing service at Waukesha, you will join 1 other internist and be part of a busy existing service. For the other two locations this is your opportunity to build the service from the ground up. You will help develop protocols, choose additional equipment, determine a schedule, and develop a team with the support of hospital leadership and business development. The caseload will ramp up quickly, driven by our complimentary services within the WVRC network. About us: WVRC is a VECCS level one certified hospital and provisional trauma center with locations in Waukesha, Racine/Kenosha and Grafton, WI. Our broad range of specialists include Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology and Dentistry, as well as a large team of emergency veterinarians, emergency-focused and rotating interns, dedicated technicians, and client-focused support staff. There is a full-time social worker on staff to support our team and clientele.
Our Hospital: WVRC is fully equipped with endoscopic arthroscopic, laparoscopic and thorascopic equipment, a full array of diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, diagnostic-quality ultrasound, 64 slice CT and 1.5T MRI. WVRC also has a full-service laboratory facility (Zoetis Reference Laboratory) within the Waukesha location to provide rapid, high-quality diagnostic capabilities.
