Job Details

Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology is seeking veterinary medical oncologists to join our growing team in the Baltimore suburb of Hunt Valley, Maryland. We will accept board-certified or residency-trained oncologists for this position.

As a medical oncologist at AVIM&O, you will benefit from a four-day, set schedule work week with a highly trained and dedicated oncology technician team. In early 2023 we are moving into a brand-new, 40,000 square foot building for the Baltimore location. Our new space will boast room for two oncologists and their teams, including state of the art chemotherapy and anterooms.

AVIM&O was established in 1992 and is a member practice of Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center, an integrated specialty referral hospital with specialists in surgery, cardiology, neurology, advanced imaging, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, a VECCS Level II emergency and critical care practice with a 24/7 ICU service. AVIM&O also has practice locations in Annapolis and Columbia, Maryland and is supported by NVA-Compassion First.

Our brand new facility will offer advanced equipment, including:

  • Dedicated spaces for chemotherapy prep and administration Olympus 190 series video endoscopes Multiple rigid scopes Canon ultrasounds with dedicated space for ultrasonography I-Stat Digital radiography Benchtop in-hospital lab systems Advanced monitoring CT and MRI
