Are you ready to practice specialty medicine in Hollywood, California? Would you practice in a city with perfect weather, exciting nightlife, great hiking trails, amazing school districts, and beaches? Look no further.
Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital is a 24-Hour specialty and emergency animal hospital located in the heart of Hollywood, California. We are looking for a second board-certified or residency-trained neurologist/neurosurgeon to join our neurology department.
MASH is a brand-new specialty and emergency animal hospital that opened its doors in March 2017. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic group that offers specialty services in neurology, surgery, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, nutrition, dermatology, and dentistry and is open 24/7 for emergencies. MASH is a newly constructed hospital with a dedicated neurology suite that includes a neurosurgical suite, procedure room, in-house MRI scanner, and CT scanner. The neurology equipment includes a 1.5T GE HD 16ch MRI with an advanced software package, a Siemens 16slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy/IR suite, and a Nicolet Viking Select EMG/NCV/EP, digital radiography. The MRI is operated by a certified MRI technician that ensures high-quality, diagnostic images are acquired with efficiency. MASH is eager to provide the Hollywood and surrounding Los Angeles community with the highest quality specialty and emergency veterinary medicine.
We are looking for an ideal candidate to be friendly, helpful, a team player and able to communicate effectively with their staff. The neurology department is looking to expand and create a culture of strong collaboration and continued innovation. The selected applicant will be expected to provide consultations and treatment plans 4 days a week and share neurosurgical on-call responsibilities.
You will be supported by an amazing group of specialists, emergency doctors, certified technicians, doctor assistants, management team, and client care coordinators. MASH offers a competitive salary and benefits package including but not limited to health, vision, and dental insurance, 401K with match, plenty of paid vacation, and relocation reimbursement.
