We are currently seeking a second cardiologist at Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in Fairfield, NJ.

Founded as an after-hours emergency clinic in 1977, AERA is a state-of-the-art hospital with specialists in medical oncology, surgery, neurology, cardiology, behavior, ophthalmology, and a strong ER and critical care team. Our hospital has outgrown its current location and will be moving into a brand new, beautiful 45,000 square foot facility in 2021 just down the road from our current location. The new facility will have on-site MRI, CT, Varian Halcyon, C-Arm, and other state-of-the-art equipment.

Fairfield offers some of the best that New Jersey has to offer. Want to live in the city? New York City is just 25 miles away and an easy reverse commute. Looking to live in the country? The Kittatinny mountains and lakes of northern NJ are minutes away. Love to travel? Newark Airport is only a 1/2 an hour away.

We are looking for veterinarians who choose to dedicate themselves to practice at a very high level. We only select those individuals that have outstanding abilities and are truly committed to excellence; not only technically, but also in terms of communication, compassion/empathy, and leadership. Our goals are keeping the best interests of the patient and pet owners at the forefront of all decisions, and promoting a culture of respect, compassion, and professional excellence in all we do.
