Job Details

Bulger Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time board-certified or residency trained veterinary Cardiologist to join our exceptional 24/7 Emergency, General Practice and Specialty referral hospital in Lawrence, MA.

Bulger has a highly team-oriented, friendly, and collaborative culture.  We strive to provide this same environment for our clients and patients, so that they are an equal partner in decision making and their pet's medical care.

Our 16,500 square foot hospital, with plans for additional expansion is located 26 miles north of Boston.  We offer specialty care in Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Exotics, Anesthesia and Critical Care, as well as a busy emergency service and general practice. The hospital is supported by nearby Ethos hospitals with neurology, dermatology, and a compounding pharmacy. Our equipment includes a 64 slice Toshiba Aquilion CT scanner, digital radiography and digital dental radiography.

Currently, cardiology caseload is served by a part time practitioner in a largely outpatient environment.  We have a need for additional cardiology coverage for both appointment availability and inpatient monitoring for a growing department.

Whatever you like to do when you’re not performing echos, you can probably find it on the North Shore.  Boston, just a half hour south, is a vibrant city with championship sports teams.  The beach is a half hour to the east, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire are two hours north.

Bulger is part of the Ethos Veterinary Health network of hospitals, providing our clinicians the opportunity to be part of a larger network of hospitals, but still maintain our distinctive identity. The focus of Ethos is on advancing veterinary medicine, along with providing high quality, compassionate care, which improves the lives of patients and their human companions. Our advancements center around three main areas: Transformative Science, Knowledge & Collaboration

Interested candidates can send their CV to Jill Taylor at JTaylor@ethosvet.com
